Some siblings worked to improve sounds from guitar “picks” with a goal to keep a basic “one-piece” concept. The process led to creation of a dramatically different shape — arched — which also effectively solved the prior inherent problems of slipping and dropping of traditional dainty triangular, teardrop artform.

Philosophy

New students may have more success in securing arcs than daintier picks while playing guitars, ukuleles and other stringed instruments. Electric or acoustic.
